Acadex Logistics LLC, doing business as ACA Delivery ("we," "us," or "our"), operates the ACA Delivery mobile application and the website acadelivery.com (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.
By using our Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Registration: Name, email address, phone number, password, city of residence, and user type (customer or driver).
- Driver Credentials: Commercial Driver's License (CDL) number, DOT number, insurance information, truck and trailer details.
- Shipment Details: Pickup and delivery addresses, zip codes, vehicle information (year, make, model, VIN), transport preferences, special instructions, and scheduling availability.
- Payment Information: Billing name, payment method details. Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not directly store your full credit card number.
- Communications: Messages sent through the in-app messaging system, customer support inquiries, and feedback.
- Vehicle Inspection Data: Photographs of vehicles at pickup and delivery, damage documentation, mileage readings, digital signatures, and inspection notes.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Location Data: With your permission, we collect precise geolocation data from driver devices to enable real-time shipment tracking, calculate estimated arrival times, and optimize routing. Customers may also share location data for address verification.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, app version, and crash reports.
- Usage Data: Pages and features accessed, actions taken within the app, time spent on screens, search queries, and interaction patterns.
- Log Data: IP address, browser type, referring URLs, access times, and diagnostic data.
- Push Notification Tokens: Device tokens used to deliver shipment status notifications.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Mapping Services: We receive routing data, distance calculations, and address verification from Google Maps.
- Authentication Providers: Verification status from email and identity verification services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
2.1 Core Service Delivery
- Create and manage your account
- Generate shipping quotes and process bookings
- Match customers with available carriers
- Enable real-time GPS tracking of shipments
- Facilitate communication between customers and drivers
- Process and document vehicle inspections
- Process payments, refunds, and financial transactions
- Send transactional notifications (shipment updates, delivery alerts, inspection reports)
2.2 Service Improvement and Analytics
- Analyze usage patterns to improve app functionality and user experience

- Generate aggregated, de-identified analytics and business intelligence

2.3 Safety, Security, and Compliance
- Verify driver credentials and qualifications

2.4 Marketing and Communications
- Send promotional communications about our services (with your consent where required)

3. How We Share Your Information
3.1 With Other Users
To facilitate auto transport services, we share limited information between customers and drivers, including first name, general location, vehicle details, and shipment status. We do not share full phone numbers or email addresses directly; communication is facilitated through our in-app messaging system.
3.2 With Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:
- Cloud Infrastructure: Supabase (database hosting and authentication)
- Mapping and Navigation: Google Maps Platform (routing, distance calculation, address verification)
- Email Communications: Resend (transactional and inspection report emails)
- Payment Processing: Stripe (payment transactions)
- Push Notifications: Expo (mobile push notification delivery)
These providers are contractually required to use your information only for the purposes of providing their services to us.
3.3 For Business Operations
We may share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you for business analysis, industry benchmarking, research, and reporting purposes.
3.4 For Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose your information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- Enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements
- Protect the safety, rights, or property of ACA Delivery, our users, or the public
- Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues
3.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
4. Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and operational purposes.
- Shipment Records: Retained for a minimum of 3 years for regulatory compliance and dispute resolution.
- Vehicle Inspection Photos: Retained for 90 days after shipment completion, then automatically deleted.
- Location Data: Real-time location data is retained only during active shipments. Historical route data may be retained in aggregated form for service improvement.
- Financial Records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
- Communications: In-app messages are retained for the duration of the associated shipment plus 1 year.
5. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS
- Row-level security controls on database access
- Secure authentication with email verification
- Regular security assessments
- Access controls limiting employee access to personal data
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Account Information
You may update or correct your account information at any time through the app settings.
6.2 Location Data
You may disable location services through your device settings. Note that disabling location services may limit certain features, particularly real-time tracking for drivers.
6.3 Push Notifications
You may opt out of push notifications through your device settings. Transactional notifications related to active shipments may still be delivered through in-app messaging.
6.4 Marketing Communications
You may opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the email or contacting us directly.
6.5 Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at acadexlogistics@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal or contractual retention obligations.
6.6 California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share your information, pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
7. Children's Privacy
Our Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.
8. International Users
Our Platform is operated in the United States. If you access our Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our Platform and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
